An anti-aging device can be extremely useful for women, and men alike, who want to keep looking young even as time passes. After the age of 30, the production of collagen reduces and people are more likely to develop wrinkles.

Although things like suncream and face lotions are essential for your skincare routine, if you want to look in your 40 or 50 like you are still 30, then creams are not enough. You’ll need to consider professional skin care tools. But which are the best skin care devices in which to invest in 2019?

There are many options from which you can choose an anti-aging device that you can use at home, without needing to do any medical procedures in the doctor’s office.

To come up with the best solution for you, we reached out to 31 dermatologists and beauty experts and asked them:

What is the best anti-aging device for home use and what are its main benefits?

We received a variety of answers that you can read below.

Dr. Yelena Deshko – Timeless Health Clinic

YELENA DESHKO

Depending on your individual skin type and goals, different types of devices can be selected. If your main concern is acne breakouts look for a machine with blue light with a wavelength of 430 nanometers.

This has been shown by multiple research studies to kill acne-causing bacteria (P. acnes) on the skin. Furthermore, blue light therapy has an immediate calming effect on inflamed pimples and helps prevent further breakouts. The blue light wavelength can also reduce skin oiliness, one of the underlying causes of acne.

For anti-aging and collagen building effects, look for a device offering red light wavelength, like Silk’n Face FX Anti Aging. Red light can travel further into the skin than blue light, stimulating collagen production in the dermis. The red light is great for addressing issues such as acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, and general skin aging. Some devices even combine both blue and red light capability giving you options depending on which concern your skin is facing that day.

For best results, the light should be directed at the skin continuously for 15-20 minutes, so an LED light mask is a better option than a handheld device that you have to move continuously over the skin.

Another key factor to look for is the number of LED lights in the machine. Generally the higher the number of bulbs, the stronger the effect. The number of LED bulbs also generally coincides with device cost, so be prepared to pay extra for a higher strength machine.

Dr. Donna Marçal – Dermatonics

Donna Marcal

One of the best at home devices for any anti-aging routine is an LED face mask. Both easy to use and with many great benefits for your skin, this is a great home care solution. Our skin begins to ‘age’ when our efficiency in synthesizing new collagen decreases from our 20s (sad but true!).

An LED face mask with a red light is brilliant to help fight the signs of aging. Red wavelengths are deeper penetrating and most effective between 630 – 690 nm. The mitochondria of our cells (the powerhouses) absorb this red light and convert it to adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which is the energy or fuel for our cells.

This promotes our cells to efficiently produce new critical proteins such as collagen and elastin, helping maintain skin elasticity and rejuvenating our skin.

Using a red LED face mask for about 20 min a session (at least twice a week) will not only promote ATP synthesis in our skin cells, it also provides a chance to relax and unwind as we treat ourselves.

Decreasing our stress levels and having some ‘me time’ highly contributes to our overall health and skin health too.

Dr. Kate Klein

Kate Klein

Recently, I came across some information regarding the benefits of at home LED face masks and its anti-aging capabilities. These face masks or shields are readily available for purchase, easily accessible, relatively inexpensive, and boast numerous benefits including stimulating collagen production, increasing blood flow to the face and neck, and healing skin from scars and blemishes.

Their main benefit is promoting the production of collagen in the skin; an important factor that plays a role in our skin’s elasticity. As we age our natural collagen stores diminish leading to looser skin, dryness, and ridges or fine lines also commonly referred to as wrinkles. Increasing collagen may even reverse the signs of aging.

They don’t use UV light, making them safe all skin types and conditions; instead, these at home masks use LED lights available in red and blue wavelengths.

The red wavelength light works to reduce age spots, sun damage, and redness; while the blue light is capable of killing off bacteria on the skin’s surface leading to blemish free skin.

The best part is these light masks work quickly, in as little as four weeks people experience a noticeable improvement in their skin’s elasticity; this is faster than supplementing with collagen natural health products which can take up to 8 weeks to notice a difference.

Margaret Tomaszewicz – Woda Skincare

Margaret Tomaszewicz,

The best anti-aging home device is a LED Face mask which is essentially light therapy done in the convenience of your home. The masks are made of medical LED beads and have specific wavelengths to treat different types of skin problems.

For example, the red LED light stimulates collagen which is a crucial protein used to repair damaged tissue. It helps to smooth out fine lines and shrinks your pores. Who doesn’t love that?

I would recommend using the LED mask every other day for 20 min after cleansing your skin. It also can be applied over the Korean Hydra mask.

Tammy Pahel – Carillon Wellness

I recommend the LightStim MultiWave device. The science behind the technology shows that LED Light Therapy can help to:

  • Increases the cell’s production of the body’s fuel source, ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate).
  • Accelerates wound healing, reduce bruising, redness and swelling.
  • Increases production of NO (Nitric Oxide), which studies show:
  • Protects against cardiovascular disease, heart attacks and strokes.
  • Prevents damage to cells caused by free radicals.
  • Decreases exercise-induced muscle fatigue.
  • Improves post-exercise recovery and promotes muscle regeneration.
  • Releases endorphins to inhibit pain.
  • Protects skin from UV damage.
  • Reduces high blood pressure.

Amy Wall – Love My Skin

Amy Wall

Truly the best device for homecare would be the MySkinBuddy.

It’s a device that:

  1. Includes LED light therapy, microcurrent, and thermal heat.
  2. Enhance product penetration.
  3. Reduce redness and inflammation.
  4. Stimulate collagen renewal and skin rejuvenation.
  5. Deeply cleanse and gently exfoliate dead skin cells.
  6. Reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.
  7. Kills P. acnes bacteria that leads to acne formation.

Zara Celik – Amara Wellness Centre

Wellbox Endermotherapie and LED would be the ones I recommend as part of a healthy aging process by supporting the body’ natural healing process.

They are natural, noninvasive, one exercises the skin to increase blood circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system and activate fibroblasts. It helps to remove the interference that is not letting the body to do what it does best. Skin will glow naturally, be firm, tones and contoured.

While LED energizes the cells and it also helps them to function at their optimum level to give the glowing skin.

Both treatments are relaxing and also healing in nature can be used at home.

Although it’s always good to use sunblock and moisturizer, sometimes at a certain age range, we need more care or something stronger. Aging and developing wrinkles are a part of getting older but we don’t have to take it so quickly or forcefully because we enjoy smiling or being in the SUN.

So with that said I have used personally and other clients I have worked with have used LED light device home machines .
I like the Eterno.

Benefits: Remove and reduce wrinkles, fine lines, redness, scars, sun spots, and loose skin.

Suitable For: All skin types and all ages

It is FDA cleared, medical grade, the anti-aging device uses NASA LED Red Lights to penetrate deep into your skin to rebuild collagen and regenerate cells. The device is clinically proven to remove and reduce wrinkles, fine lines, sun spots, large pores and redness from your face in as little as 4-8 weeks! Who doesn’t want fast results right?

Like the Sun helps plants grow, the UV-free lights help your skin grow new cells too.

The lights penetrate the surface go much deeper than any cream, through three layers of skin. They are absorbed by photo acceptors in the mitochondria.

This boost of cellular energy results in a cascade of metabolic events, including tissue repair and new cells. Which leaves your skin feeling smoother, brighter and younger.

Women and men from our clinical studies saw results in 8-weeks. With that said everyone is different. The key is to be consistent with the device and use it at least 3 times a week.

Unless you have an extreme skin condition you can use the Eterno. When you first use the device your skin may be a little red after you use it. No worries! It’s normal and it means the device is working. It’s increasing the blood circulation so your cells can regenerate quicker.

It can be used on some acne-prone skin as well to dry up and clear the issue.

Price ranges I believe are around 250-300.

While at-home or over-the-counter anti-aging treatments are almost universally significantly less efficacious than medical in-office treatments, there are a couple of items which can help.

First, retinoid based skincare products are very popular and can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles: it induces skin exfoliation to help improve skin consistency and texture.

Secondly, one very popular in-office medical procedure that I perform is microneedling in which a device makes thousands of tiny punctures in the skin to induce the body’s healing response.

Microneedling is quite effective at addressing fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation irregularities, consistency, and other effects of aging. Versions of the medical-grade device I use are available for at-home use. These devices can offer a more moderate version of the medical treatment.

Araya Fitzgerald – Araya Beauty

The number one home-use anti-aging device I recommend for all my clients is the Dermapem (sometimes known as Dermaroller) as it gives the best results from the many various options we’ve tried over the years.

This revolutionary skincare treatment is extremely effective and is proving hugely popular with clients who prefer a rejuvenation method involving significantly less epidermal damage than some of the alternative, more invasive surgical solutions such as Botox and facelift procedures.

Some of the skin conditions treated by Dermapen microneedling include:

  • Surgical and/or burn scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Enlarged pores
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Uneven skin texture

The reason it’s so effective is that the microneedling process enabled using the Dermpen promotes the growth of collagen in the skin and our middle-aged and elderly clientele has really fallen in love with it.

Thicker collagen results in younger, firmer looking skin and users can also expect a reduction of scars, wrinkles, fine lines and premature wrinkling, stretch marks, and even pore size.

Dermapen microneedling can also help fix skin tone problems that result from rosacea, hyper-pigmentation and age spots. Users can expect their facial skin to recover from microneedling within approximately three days and during these three days, you may notice a redness and will want to avoid excessive sun exposure.

If you’re using this product at home regularly, you might want to consider a regular Dermapen session to maintain your youthful look; we’d suggest fortnightly.

Controlled injury to the skin has been shown to help spur regeneration and health. I tell my clients to get a manual micro-needling device from Amazon. Hold the device and roll it across your face without applying pressure. Pressing down can cause scarring over time.

They are inexpensive, and when used lightly every two weeks, can help to reduce fine lines, acne scarring, reducing pore size, and aid the absorption of skincare like serums.

They can retain bacteria, so they need to be cleaned after every single use with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, and I recommend replacing it every 3 months.

Dr. Amanda Young – NYU Langone

As the market is flooded with products, lotions, and potions available for home use, it’s hard to know which products actually deliver, and which ones rise to the challenge, and which ones fall flat.

I recommend a product that has a scientific basis, as well as I perform in my own practice.

Microneedling is a practice that takes advantage of the body’s natural ability to heal itself. By creating “micro-injuries” to the skin, the body automatically begins to stimulate new collagen to heal these areas. With repeated use, the result is improved skin texture, and a reduction in the appearance of scars, including acne scars, smaller pores, firmer skin, less noticeable fine lines, and other improvements in geographic variations and hyperpigmentation of the skin.

Immediately and for the next few hours after completing the treatment, these micro-injuries serve as open channels to the deeper layers of skin. These openings can be utilized to better absorb serums and other collagen stimulating products, such as hyaluronic acid when placed on the face immediately post-treatment.

There are different lengths of needles available for purchase, ranging from 0.2mm to 2.5mm. The longer the needles, the less frequently the treatment can be done and the longer the recovery time. What’s most important is to allow sufficient recovery time between treatments, and not overdo it. Longer needles are also a bit more uncomfortable, leading to people at home not being able to give themselves an effective enough treatment at home.

An office treatment by a licensed provider will certainly be more effective than anything that can be done at home. Topical numbing can be applied, allowing for increased depth; the treatment can be combined with laser (radio frequency) for longer lasting results; as well as with protein-rich platelets (PRP), also dubbed the ‘vampire facial’ where the patient’s own blood products are utilized for a powerhouse effect.

However, these treatments can be costly. If it’s not in the budget, while not quite as effective as an office treatment, a home microneedling treatment does provide worthwhile and visible results.

I absolutely LOVE microneedling derma rollers for at home anti-aging. They seem scary with the “little needles” that puncture the skin but they are not scary and most importantly do not hurt.

What they actually do is prepare your skin by making tiny punctures in the top layer of skin to maximize the absorption of the skincare you use to the deeper layers of the face.

The term “tough skin” is real so allowing a little tenderization of the skin takes what you are already using to the next level. Personally, l have seen a dramatic difference not only in the look of the surface layer of my face but also in minimizing wrinkles.

My favorite is GLOPRO Microneedling Regeneration Tool. You can buy less expensive ones  but just remember, you get what you pay for. The less expensive ones need to be replaced more often and don’t do as accurate of a job.

Without a doubt, the best anti-aging advice we would recommend for home use is red light therapy. From a purely skincare standpoint, red light therapy increases collagen production, tightens skin, speeds up wound healing, reduces inflammation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles and helps treat atopic skin conditions like eczema, acne, psoriases, cold sores, etc).

It is a treatment we use almost daily at our spa and have seen amazing results with consistent use.

From a whole-body anti-aging perspective, red light therapy works in a multitude of ways to restore the body to peak performance.

  1. Increases cellular ATP production (AKA cellular energy) which in turn leads to more energy throughout the body and many other subsequent benefits (more energy, increased hair growth, increased cellular turn over, reduced oxidative stress, wound healing, etc).
  2.  Red light therapy reduces inflammation throughout the body helping to combat acute inflammation from injuries or fight chronic inflammation throughout the body caused by toxins and lifestyle habits.
  3.  Anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress benefits have been shown to show a significant reduction in pain caused by arthritis/osteoarthritis/joint pain.
  4. Improves thyroid function for those with any kind of thyroid disease (hypo-, hyper and Hashimotos).
  5. Increases testosterone levels in the body.
  6. Reduces fat, cellulite, and aids in weight loss.

People often ask me how they can improve their skin at home beyond using a great skincare routine. Whether you’re trying to improve wrinkles, sensitive skin or acne, my answer is light therapy! This technology is now available in easy to use yet effective home care devices that can address a variety of skin concerns.

When this healthful light is applied directly to the skin it can temporarily increase blood circulation to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, stimulate collagen and tighten skin.

Sensitive skin? It can help to calm redness and amp up healing power on a cellular level. It treats mild to moderate acne by reducing bacteria levels in the pores.

A WORD OF CAUTION:  not all light therapy is created equal! There are a few nice brands that deliver rejuvenating wavelengths but my favorite, that’s effective and affordable, is called Light Stim. Their products range from hand-held to full face-mask style devices and address aging, acne, and pain.

Kate Block – Foreo

Kate Block

The Foreo UFO Smart Mask is hands down our most effective anti-aging tool. It’s equipped with 6 technologies to hyper-infuse the skin with skincare treatments while simultaneously exposing them to LED light sequences with proven efficacy.

Each device comes equipped with thermotherapy (heat), cryotherapy (cold), T-sonic pulsations to drive ingredients deep, and 3 light therapies: red reduces wrinkles, green gives you a glow, and blue banishes blemishes. Each UFO-compatible mask is just like a typical sheet mask that is cut to fit the surface of the UFO.

Once it is secured, it can be scanned in our Foreo For You App which activates a predetermined sequence of therapies best suited for the mask selected. So for example, Youth Junkie mask which has micronized collagen—the protein responsible for lending skin its firmness– also pairs with the thermotherapy, T-Sonic pulsations, and red LED light.

If “age spots” are your kryptonite, “Glow addict” pairs a brightening formula with the Green LED light to brighten the complexion as well as T-sonic pulsations and thermotherapy.

Additionally, the thing that makes this tool so phenomenal is that with just a 90-second treatment time, it’s so quick that you may actually do it.

With skincare, the number 1 problem is compliance: it’s the consistency of actually using a product/tool as recommended.

You may not carve out the treatment time to use other tools, but 90 seconds is the amount of time it takes for your coffee to cool down enough that you don’t burn the roof of your mouth! Everyone has 90 seconds–and with that consistent use–will come profound results.

Kim Harris – Prescott Medical Aesthetics

The Foreo line of at home care products is cutting edge for anti-aging, helping to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles and can help your skin care work even better. The Foreo Luna is designed to be a gentle facial cleanser and exfoliator, anti-wrinkle and can help reduce acne as well.

Foreo Luna products are stylish, run on battery and can be used in the shower and at the sink. We recommend patients use it along with our physician grade skin care line by Epionce for best results.

If you are ready to take your at home skin care to the next level, the Luna is your best option for treatment of wrinkles, acne and other signs of aging. If acne is a big concern, the Foreo Espada uses laser focused blue light and a series of pulsations to reduce inflammation and get rid of acne fast. This clinically proven device is a wonderful addition to your anti-acne routine.

Hillary Kline – Kline To The Top Hillary Kline

One of the best at-home anti-aging devices, and one of my favorites would be the Foreo Luna fofo. This product is ideal for all skin types and for someone who is looking to get the most out of every cleanse. This product uses advanced skin sensors and Bluetooth technology.

What’s neat about this device is that you can create a personalized skin profile that is sent to the Foreo app. You can take a quiz, where you then figure out what your skin type is, your age, and then it helps generate a customized cleansing routine. Not only that, but you can also use the app to record skincare progress and post or share on social media.

The buzzing sensation helps bring oxygen to the skin and also increases blood flow, which helps with collagen production and gives you those anti-aging benefits. I love how small it is, which makes it amazing for travel and packing in your gym bag.

The Foreo also keeps the skin glowing, hydrated and gives you that tailored cleansing routine. In today’s day in age where there are a million (and one) skincare products out there that just creates an overwhelming feeling, stick to something that works.

This little guy does so many things for anti-aging because it’s a stimulating facial massage which is scientifically proven to produce more collagen. It increases facial blood flow gently and promotes lymphatic drainage (natural detoxification) which helps our pores clear congestion to get more oxygen flow to our skin giving us a fabulous glow and firmer skin.

I recommend this device most often to my clients because of the results I’ve gotten from it currently and in the past but also, it has skin sensors that measure your hydration levels which feedback to their device app called “FOREO For You” it’s extremely helpful to review when you want to understand your skin better/have better results.

It’s not often that you can find a helpful device like this without being sold on products to use for IT to work! It works on ALL skin types, can be used 2x a day and is a great travel item.

I love the Clarisonic MIA2; I have had mine for an eternity. It’s a great way to exfoliate the skin on the daily in the shower, especially if you are acne prone.

I prefer to use this to exfoliate my skin along with a gentle cleanser like Neova’s Radiant Wash which is chock full of anti-inflammatory fruit extracts.

The device takes one minute to do the face and neck; it is timed to hesitate in 15-second intervals to remind you to move from one area of the face to the next. It can come with sensitive bristles as well for those who are rosacea prone.

If you are looking for an at home anti-aging device that will be a long term solution to your skin’s exfoliation needs then the MIA2 is a great fit.

LumiGlow is a relatively new combination of red light / near-infrared light hand-held treatment.
It can help stimulate cellular renewal and turnover, improve circulation, stimulate the production of collagen, and even reduce the appearance of very fine lines.

Karen Moehr – Ageless Beauty Pro

For my money, the best device I’ve found for at-home anti-aging is the microcurrent machine. Used properly, it will lift, tone, firm and even reduce some fine lines and give the skin a glow. Non-invasive, this device works quickly and provided immediate benefits. Even many celebrities (like Jennifer Anniston who says “It’s like going to the gym for your face”) use these type of little wonders to stay looking youthful.

My choice after using several is the Clareblend MINI, available only through licensed professionals. It’s cost-effective and easy to use. There are others on the market.

Home microcurrent contouring treatments provide a very low current which benefits have been shown to:

· Increase circulation and glow for the skin

· Increase the production of natural collagen and elastin

· Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

· Lift/firm/tone/sculpt the muscles under the skin (providing a “lifted” effect)

· Enhance product penetration

Results are temporary but with continued use, you can maintain a cumulative effect!

When it comes to anti-aging devices, I’d recommend a simple jade roller. They are great at combatting inflammation, removing dark circles and stimulating lymphatic draining (lymph in the body doesn’t move itself – your movements move and circulate it).

I’m pretty old-school when it comes to taking care of yourself and minimizing the effects of aging, meaning I like tried and true ways. Aging is no joke: while getting older is inevitable, having your skin look older is completely within your control.

The absolute best things you can do for your skin are to stay hydrated, use moisturizer daily, and use sunscreen if you are out in the sun. Surprisingly to many people, daily meditation also has a profound impact on appearance and aging, making people who meditate regularly look much younger than their actual age.

All five of these approaches are inexpensive things you can do daily and will keep you looking young well into old age. And they all work. I started taking good care of my skin in my early 20s and to this day, people can never guess how old I am.

The key to success with this or most anything is consistency. You have to be consistent in whatever your daily routine is if you want to see results. Staying hydrated means all the time; not just when it’s convenient. Same with using a jade roller or using moisturizer.

These things have little effect if you lack consistency. When you have a good habit and stick to it daily, you will see lasting results. I hope this motivates people because it really is that simple. The 5 basic principles discussed here can take 10-30 years off your appearance, easily, depending on your age.

Laura Kearney – Skinsanity

Microdermabrasion for “at home” skincare is incredibly effective but simple. It has a very low risk of injury. It is painless and requires no numbing cream.

Microdermabrasion improves the appearance of the skin by addressing skin quality, age spots, fine lines, and very mild scarring. By removing the very dead top layer of the skin, the epidermis, Microdermabrasion encourages rapid cell turn over.

Cellular turnover is a major factor in how our skin looks and feels. Unfortunately, natural skin cell turnover slows as we age. For babies, it takes 2 weeks and three to four weeks for teens. Once past your teens, your skin renews itself about every 30 to 40 days, but gets even more sluggish after 50, renewing itself only 45 to 90 days.

An added treatment to microdermabrasion, I recommended adding a chemical peel. However, I do not recommend to do these peels at home. Find a skin care professional to ensure the right peel is used.

Well, there are many devices available in the market which claims that they are the best when it comes to anti-aging.

No doubt, that most of them are good and working for lots of people but my personal choice is Derma Roller.

Derma roller or micro needling is being used from a long time to get rid of acne scars and to exfoliate the skin and it has worked because it removes the dead skin and makes the new skin to appear which is soft, smooth and ultimately makes you look younger.

Derma roller is 100% safe to use and it is recommended by the dermatologists in the treatment of removing dead skin.

Let me give you a further idea of how it can make you look younger.

Basically, dead skin, wrinkles, and blemish scars are the culprit of making us look older and when you use a derma roller to gently exfoliate the outer layer of your skin so a new, fresh and smooth skin comes then this will automatically make us look beautiful and younger.

Precaution:

Before using the derma roller make sure that you consult with the dermatologist so that he/she can properly guide you on how to use it and which size to buy.

My approach to younger looking skin involves a revolutionary integrative approach, using both cosmetic treatments/procedures and medical grade skin care products to achieve optimal results.

In terms of anti-aging devices for home use, the popularity of such methods is unquestionably on the rise. The Silk’n Face FX Anti Aging.

The device is pre-eminent among them. It’s intended for use on problem areas like crow’s feet, under-eye bags and wrinkles, and cheeks, using photorejuvenation technology.

However, as a trusted plastic surgeon and beauty expert dedicated to artful, beautiful results, I’m compelled to point out that these devices are best used as complimentary additions to professional service.

Since there is currently insufficient data to support claims of at-home anti-aging results in well-conducted studies, they should only be implemented as part of an integrative skincare treatment plan.

These devices could be a type of daily maintenance following a cosmetic procedure or skin treatment procedure. You simply won’t get optimal results from any anti-aging home device on its own, and you’re not meant to.

You can never go wrong by opting for professional cosmetic treatments and medical consultation. At that point, you can decide which, if any, at-home anti-aging device is right for your daily skincare maintenance.

The best anti-aging device for home use that I have used is the blackhead remover pore vacuum. I’ve used a couple of different brands but didn’t notice a major difference. The most important thing to note when selecting a pore vacuum is to ensure that it has a powerful suction and that it comes with different attachment heads to be used in different areas of your face.

Why it’s good: My number one secret to anti-aging is to exfoliate effectively and consistently. Exfoliation provides a way for you to remove excess oil, dirt and dead skin from your face. This forces your body to replenish and renew the skin, giving you that beautiful glow on your face.

Many people find it difficult to exfoliate with just a regular facial cleanser. Just using a facial cleanser is not always effective because you’re not sure if it cleaned just the surface of your skin or deep down your pores.

By using a pore vacuum, you can be sure that your pores are clean because you can visually see the “gunk” that is collected at the tip of vacuum during facial cleaning. The powerful motor pulls out impurities from your skin much more effectively than washing your face with your hands and a facial cleanser.

It’s hard to pick just one favorite.

I love Dermaflash, because it serves multiple purposes. It exfoliates and removes “peach fuzz,” which may not initially seem like it would have anti-aging benefits, but since our serums, moisturizer, and all other topical skin treatments can absorb into the skin better when there aren’t layers of dead skin and hair in the way, it definitely helps!

It also brightens the skin and stops the dead skin and product from settling in fine lines, so it has an anti-aging benefit that way, too!

Another favorite of mine is the NuFace, both as it is, as well as with the red light attachment. I could see a visible decrease in fine lines after only one use, and was extremely impressed. I can only imagine how wonderful I’d look with continued use!

The device tones and firms muscles under the skin, as fitness for the face, which is like a more natural form of Botox, and works wonders! It also stimulates circulation and collagen production, both of which have benefits that counteract some signs of aging.

Nuface Facial Toning Device

This device uses non-invasive microcurrent (a low-level electrical current) to gently stimulate your skin to help lift and tone muscles and contours of your face. That means no sagging. It also helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and speeds up cell repair.

So fine lines and wrinkles are less apparent and your skin looks better overall. Uncomplicated and easy to use, I knew I was hooked on this one when the untreated side of my face actually appeared to be sagging in comparison to the other side!

My favorite is the Nuface Mini. It doesn’t include the precision like the Neuface Trinity, but it’s portable and can literally give you a facelift in as little as 5 minutes.

Use once a day, 5 days a week for the first 60 days, then 2-3 times a week afterward. At home or on the go, this is the perfect at home treatment with no downtime. As with any routine, consistency is key to maintaining results so this is definitely a commitment.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture or, cosmetic acupuncture, is a non-surgical modality of treatment for the improvement of the face.

In addition to the many and varied health-promoting effects throughout the body that regular acupuncture treats, facial rejuvenation acupuncture aims to correct the signs of aging by both local treatment and by treating the underlying causes of why an individual is specifically manifesting the aging process, Cosmetic Acupuncture, facial rolling, cupping, gua sha and other modalities of Chinese medicine make facial rejuvenation a safe alternative to surgery or fillers.

Facial acupuncture helps to improve muscle tone and dermal contraction, especially in the face and neck. It has been shown to increase collagen production and aids in its dispersal thus helping to firm the skin and fill out wrinkles.

Bags and sagging around the eyes, face, and neck can be significantly reduced. Body metabolism is greatly improved through these treatments, resulting in reduced puffiness often to the point of elimination.

As acupuncture can profoundly affect the regulation of hormones in the body, conditions like acne and overly dry skin can be improved. Stress and it’s manifestations on the body which are so visible on the face as well are transformed resulting in a younger, calmer, and less worn looking face.

Pre-existing health conditions are cleared up because acupuncture works by treating the whole body and addressing the underlying causes of aging and disease.

I tested out the ZIIP Beauty Device because I heard so much about the lasting effects of micro/ and current treatments for the face that I had to find out what all the hoopla was about. The device fits the contour of my hand and felt very ergonomic when gliding it across my skin. The vibration of the device felt like gentle shocks that created a lifting sensation that felt very invigorating.

Pairing Ziip with the suggested Silver Gel intensified the moisture barrier in my skin creating a more youthful look. The cooling sensation added a depuffing factor which gave my skin a glowing after effect. I still felt confident after two weeks of using the device that I didn’t even wear makeup.

This device & gel is great for anyone who wants to feel more youthful and confident. The appearance of my skin felt lifted, smoother, and more radiant. I felt very selfie-ready after my first treatment I saw a visible difference in the overall appearance of my complexion. After my first treatment I gave myself a trial period to see how long the effects of Ziip lasted.

Much to my excitement two weeks later I still saw the positive effects of being Ziip’d.
